LA COUCHADIS
Park at the entrance to the Village de Vacances. Follow the lane in the direction away from the holiday village for about 200 m. Just before the T junction take the marked trail to the left. After 400 m this trail turns right and in another 400 m joins the lane at La Couchadis. Turn right onto the lane at the farmhouse. After 500 m the lane hits a T junction with D 16. Turn right and walk for 100 m before turning left. After 100 m turn right down the lane. In another 100 m, turn left onto the trail.
(Alternatively, you can follow the lane and turn right when you meet the X-road for a shorter 5 k walk, but you’ll miss the best part of the walk!)

TO LA MAINE
Follow the track for about 1 km before it meets a T-Junction in the trail. Turn right and follow the trail for about 1 km, cross a small lane and keep on the trail for about 1 km. You will cross over a small stream, that runs under the trail. The trail passes between two properties. As you pass the building on your right, follow the narrow trail to your right. After 200 m it reaches the D16 at the outskirts of Manot. Turn left into the village.
TO LA MAINE
Follow the track for about 1 km before it meets a T-Junction in the trail. Turn right and follow the trail for about 1 km, cross a small lane and keep on the trail for about 1 km. You will cross over a small stream, that runs under the trail. The trail passes between two properties. As you pass the building on your right, follow the narrow trail to your right. After 200 m it reaches the D16 at the outskirts of Manot. Turn left into the village.
MANOT BACK TO THE HOLIDAY VILLAGE
Stay on the pedestrian path as you enter Manot. It curves to the right and meets the junction for St Maurice de Lions. Cross the road and take the steps down to a path that has a little pedestrian bridge to the right. Instead of crossing the little bridge, turn left back into the village. Go between the buildings and turn right. In a few metres, at the next junction, turn down the hill to the right. Follow the path until it meets the D166 to St Maurice de Lions. Cross the road and follow the trail up the hill until it meets a T-Junction. Turn left into the lane that heads into the holiday village. You will pass the eco-trail on your left. As you reach the holiday village you can turn left to the river beach and the Moulin de la Gouterie. (After your swim), return the way that you came but turn left to follow the lane through the holiday village to the car park.
